As AJ grows, so does his vocabulary. He's been so cute trying out new words and ideas lately, I decided to record a few of them:
AJ: "Mom, could you tell me the story of Adam and Steve?"
Me: "You mean, Adam and Eve?" (shocked and alarmed)
AJ: "Oh... yeah."
AJ: "Mom, why does Spiderman shoot webs out his breasts?"
Me: "You mean wrists? Wrists?" (pointing)
AJ: "Yeah, Mommy why does Spiderman shoot webs out his WRISTS?" (laughing)
Me: "Just because he has special powers from the spider bite." (laughing, too)
Evelyn: "Will the Tooth Fairy come when my tooth comes out?"
Me: "You'll have to wait and see-ee."
AJ: "The Tooth Fairy's not part of our family! Silly Mommy!"
Me:"Evelyn you look like a little jack-o-lantern." (after losing her tooth)
AJ: "I think you look like a witch."
(Had to try and explain at this point that that was an insult.) :)
I'm sure there will be more to come. Loving all my pumpkins!
