A Christmas Present From Us to You!

Hi everyone...

2007 has been a great year for the Riggs family. In February, Evelyn Joy joined us from the heavenly realms, and brought a wonderful spirit into our home. In June, Justin got a new job as a software trainer, which he loves, and which he might even keep for more than a year (wouldn't that be something!). We also purchased a home in Littleton, CO, which Katie did a masterful job fixing up and "making it our own". She somehow fits 40 hours of work into every single day, and keeps the whole family afloat, as women generally do.
We hope that all was well with you in 2007, and wish you increased happiness in the year to come....

Love,

Justin, Katie, and Evelyn Joy Riggs

Stages of Evelyn (continued...)

The day of my sister Amy's wedding. Evelyn is about six and 1/2 months here and in a food coma--just the way we like her!

Seven months old with Mommy and (below) learning how to eat crackers by herself!

Justin took her outside to play in the red maple leaves one day when she was about 8 months old. (Beautiful photog. work done here by Justin.)

Stages of Evelyn

Here she is the day she was born--February 12, 2007.

Dressed to kill at 1 month old!

Step back Cindy Crawford--Evelyn's modeling!! At 4 months, the most winning smile EVER!
Five months old and partying with Dad. :) She loves the camera!

Evelyn Begins Her Life in the Fast Lane...

I will start the blog by introducing the two most popular people in the Justin Riggs family. ...I'm kidding of course, but I did think this was a fun shot to start off with... It's too bad there's no room for Ron Paul... But that's why I'M writing the blog and not Justin! :)
Now, I don't mean to mix politics with pleasure, but really... aren't they the same thing?
Evelyn was in the newspaper last October 12th to mark this event. That day was memorable for many reasons: 1. Mitt's speach was incredible: He emphasized the great legacy our founding fathers left us and how we should honor that by learning from the past and being true to the morals that were born with this nation. Well, I liked it, anyways! 2. Evelyn was the only baby in the room, and therefore received soooo much attention! She took it in stride, of course, as she always does. 3. And then there was the quite obvious photo op with Mitt. We were actually pushed to the front of the room. I guess it makes politicians look good to hold babies--go fig!
