Baby Pictures!

I hear from the Riggs family that all mine and Justins' kids look like Conways. True? I would like to think they at least resemble Daddy, since I married him for his looks, after all. :) J/K. Anyways, I thought it would be fun to download pics of me and Justin and our kids as babies, so you could see for yourself. Whom does Elijah resemble? Take our poll and speak for yourself!

Elijah Edward Riggs

Entering the world on the rarest of all birthdays came Elijah Edward Riggs on February 29th, 2012 at 7:52am ("Eli" for short). My friend from Sweden tells me Leap Day birthdays are good luck. We definitely think he's special!

He arrived 2 weeks early but is still our largest by far at 8lbs 5 oz and 20" long. Our home felt more complete immediately when we got back from the hospital.

Elijah means "the Lord is my God" and Justin and I love the name because of Elijah's connection to the temple and the last days. Edward means "prosperous guardian." It is also Grandpa Conway's middle name.

Here are some pics of his first days at home and in the hospital. I'll also post some pics tonight of mine and Justin's baby pics, as well as Evelyn and AJ's. Have a little fun and complete our new poll (bottom of the page).

This Month...

...My kids are still cute! :)

Evelyn got a small basket of candy for her birthday from our friend across the street. She was pretty excited about it, and I decided to let her have it all, as long as she shared with AJ. This created lots of smiles! (Hopefully not cavities.) :)






AJ was wearing a shirt my little bros used to wear when they were 1 1/2. It has some sort of greyhound dog insignia on the front, and I told him it was a wolf. He was really excited about this!!! He was talking about it for two days... no joke!

Zoo Today

No pics yet, but my little kids were so adorable at the zoo today!! I went with my Mom & Dad and sissy, too. It's just so awesome when the kids start getting excited about little adventures like this! Evie just skipped around the whole time--she loved the elephants the best and was so delighted with family members that she played several rounds of musical hand-holding or just holding. She was singing most of the way home and for about a half-hour afterwards. :)

AJ was into lions and monkeys best. At one point he said "mowa (more)RARRRR!" He also loved the water animals--he kept trying to jump in with them. As a matter of fact, Evelyn was not shy, either, in this regard. We luckily caught her before she hurled herself in with the cheetahs.

What can I say? Our kids are hilarious!!! Thanks for a great day, Parents & Sissy!!!
